Machestic Dragons Mascot

machestic-dragon-mascot-509x637[1]The concept for our dragon mascot colors are drawn from Chinese color meanings:

BLUE – conserving, healing, relaxation, exploration, trust, calmness, immortality
GREEN – growing, generating, sprouting, striving, refreshing, balancing, calming, healing, self-assurance,foundation, benevolence, health, harmony, sensitivity, patience vs anger
PINK – love

Since blue and green combined creates teal, the majority of the dragon is in shades of teal to represent the wonderful (blue and green) attributes the Machestic Dragons strive to support in their mission and
life.

The whiskers, eyes and mouth are pink—to feel, see and speak with love and kindness.Look close to see the “M and D” in the dragon whiskers!

The Machestic Dragons mascot is the artwork of Kelsey Roe, a Freshman at Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota Florida, majoring in Computer Animation. Kelsey is an aspiring artist who is also a baritone saxophone player for the high school Marching Black and Gold, a member of the National Honor Society, lacrosse goalie and has paddled with the Machestic Dragons.
