As President of the Machestic Dragons’ Board of Trustees, I urge you to explore our site and learn about our unique organization. The Machestics are a diverse and enthusiastic group of women and men who are devoted to our mission, to our fellow breast cancer survivors, and to dragon boat paddling. We encourage you to read our stories and watch our video, and if you think you’re up for trying something new, come join us on the water! We practice two to three
times a week, and we’re always looking for new members, survivors and supporters alike.
And if you are in the Mercer County area on Saturday, June 14 this is an event that you don’t want to miss.
“Paddle for Pink”, our premier fundraising event whose proceeds support local free breast cancer programs and is one of the most popular dragon boat festivals on the East Coast!

Our membership is open to EVERYONE!

You do NOT have to be an athlete to join the Machestic Dragons.

Not sure if you’d like to join our team? We invite you to come to a practice for free, sign our insurance waiver, don your safety gear, and paddle with coach Ken and other team members in the boat, before signing up for membership.
Machestic Dragons membership is a low annual fee that includes all practices with a coach, entrance fees to all races we participate in, and many off season events. Please note that most, if not all, other dragon boat teams charge additional fees for every race and every event they attend.
Membership fee for new member is $150; returning member is $100, and non-paddling member is $60. We also have a family membership available for $175, minors must be accompanied by a member 18 years of age or older.
We expect that all members volunteer in person at our annual fundraiser Paddle for Pink every June at Mercer Lake.
